KIBI Sports fundraiser terms

These terms apply to anyone who creates a fundraiser on KIBI Sports ("you", the creator). KIBI Sports Pvt. Ltd. ("KIBI", "we") runs the platform. You accept these terms when you submit a fundraiser, and again, in their current version, when you resubmit one.

These terms add to the KIBI Sports Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they differ on fundraising, these terms apply.

Fundraisers can't be created from a child account. A fundraiser for a child must be created by the parent or guardian from their own account.

You must verify your mobile number with a one-time code and complete an identity check with our verification partner Didit (a government photo ID and a selfie). Organizations also confirm their registration. The information you give must be true and complete.

The KIBI team reviews every fundraiser before it is published and may ask for changes or reject it, with a reason. Your page goes public only after it is approved and your payout bank account has been verified.

Each fundraiser has an end date, set when it goes live. It closes at that date, when it is closed by KIBI, or, unless we say otherwise, when it reaches its goal.

Every donation is processed by our payment partner Cashfree and settles directly to your verified bank account. KIBI never receives, holds or controls donated money, and keeps no reserve or hold-back from it.

Donations are charged in Indian rupees. A donation counts towards your fundraiser only after Cashfree confirms a successful payment of exactly the donated amount. KIBI does not check which country a donor or their card is from, so any payment Cashfree accepts settles to your account like any other donation. If you have a question about a payment made from outside India, contact KIBI Sports support (section 11).

Donations are not tax-deductible. Neither KIBI nor you may issue an 80G receipt or describe a donation as tax-deductible on KIBI. Money you receive may be taxable income for you or your organization; you are responsible for your own tax obligations.

You must use donations only for the purpose described on your fundraiser page.

Within 30 days after your fundraiser closes, you must post at least one fund-use update on your fundraiser page explaining how the money was used, with proof such as receipts or invoices where you have them. You can post updates and proof from your fundraiser's management page on KIBI.

Donors are not refunded by default. Refunds are limited to payment errors and fraud.

Payment errors: if a donor is charged twice, a payment failed but was still captured, or the amount captured does not match, KIBI may ask Cashfree to refund that payment. The refund is recovered from your share of the payment through Cashfree, not paid by KIBI.

Fraud: if KIBI cancels your fundraiser for fraud, you must refund every donor in full yourself. KIBI holds no money and refunds nothing on your behalf; we will tell your donors that the refund obligation is yours and record it against the terms version you accepted.

You may upload documents that support your fundraiser. You choose whether each one is public or private, except medical documents, which are always private.

Medical documents are health data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We ask for your separate, explicit consent before you upload them. Only you and KIBI reviewers can open them; every reviewer view is logged. They are deleted 90 days after your fundraiser closes.

Do not upload anyone else's medical or identity documents without their permission.

KIBI may pause donations to a fundraiser, close it early, or cancel it, at any time, including to investigate a complaint, a payment problem or suspected fraud, or if these terms are broken. Where we can, we will tell you why.

You can ask us to close your fundraiser at any time. Donations already made stay with you and remain subject to sections 5 and 6.

You never receive donors' phone numbers or email addresses. Donors who choose to stay anonymous are shown as "Anonymous" everywhere public.

We may update these terms. Each update gets a new version and effective date. The version you accepted applies to your fundraiser until you accept a newer one, for example when you resubmit.
